WOW. This stuff is great. If you have ever gone through the process of removing old stain and heat melting off old finish with a heat gun and methodically putting 8 coats of UV Protected Varnish or whatever on your teak over three weekends of work, only to find yourself needing to redo the entire project in 2-3 short years, then you're gonna want to take this in. Those times are gone. Take your teak and get this product. Use Part 1, then Part 2 exactly as directed and you will be starting with pristine teak just like it was just hewn yesterday. But that's not all. Then take the Semco Teak sealer (NO VARNISH!!), choose your shade (I got the gold tone because it is very rich on my sailboat.) and coat the wood with whatever it will soak up, again exactly as directed. This whole process took me about 1/10th the time with far far better results. ....and the best news isn't even that. It is that from now on I take about 20 minutes every 6 months and give it another seal-coat and it is back to new. But should I want to Remove the sealer and start from scratch, it still is just going to take me less than 3 hours work, split over a day to allow it to dry properly. What's not to like?
