After reading a lot of reviews, I bought it primarily to clean Holley Carburetors. This unit is perfect size for a Holley 2300 model carburetor disassembled. I used a solution of Simple Green and water. All the larger parts of the single Holley fit into the basket which comes with this unit. I took the really small pieces and put them in a Zip Loc bag with half Simple Green and Half water, closed the bag and added it to the parts basket.I initially tried it at 35 degrees C and 30 minutes and it did a good job but the old gaskets still in places on the parts did not come loose. I ran the carburetor a second time at 30 minutes but at 60 degrees C.The parts look as good as when you use the typical gall Can of Chemical Carburetor cleaner but without the hassle of dealing with caustic substances. I fresh watered the parts in the basket and when they are dry will be ready to re-assemble the carburetor. I have two further carburetors to do the same on...3x2 setup. Very nice looking setup.As for noise, I am not sure what a number of reviewers are talking about but there was nothing excessive about noise and anything like needing ear protection. From across a three car garage I could not hear the machine and even up close, it is a very low tone.I like it. Good product. Showed up so fast from Amazon it is hard to ever consider buying any other way.
